Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone!

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum. I love Big Band and Jazz and have been searching the web for any remnants of information about my grandfather, Byron Caran, when I came across some session information here. I was wondering if any of you have any further information. He was primarily a studio mucisian for the networks (trombone), worked on the Ed Sullivan show as well as briefly having his own orchestra in New York. My grandmother was Lillian Green Caran, the stage actress and child star who also did a lot of radio work in the 50s. My grandfather died in 1987 and my grandmother passed away in 2002. Other than some stories and old pictures from family get togethers, I didn't really know the extent of his career but am eager to find out. My dad (Bryron's eldest son, Arthur) passed away in 2004.
Thanks all,
Nicole Caran Barat
